The Benefits of Oven Baked Kibble
Our new Oven Baked Kibble is officially here! This isn’t your ordinary kibble that's often hard, extruded, and lacking flavor. Our kibble is baked slowly at a low temperature to ensure the flavor, vitamins, and minerals are all still there once it reaches your dog’s bowl. Take a look at our kibble compared to other kibble, you can visibly see the difference!
Whole Grain Goodness
Both of our formulas, Turkey and Lamb, are full of amazing whole grains. These help keep your dog’s belly full of the right amount of fiber and provide them with tons of energy from good carbohydrates. You can find oats, barley, and brown rice in our Oven Baked Kibble to keep your dog’s body happy and moving. Our kibble is also allergen friendly because it contains no wheat, corn, or soy.
Slow Baked To Perfection
When you purchase our Oven Baked Kibble, you can rest easy knowing your dog is getting the best nutritional value possible. Dog food kibble is either extruded or oven baked. When dog food is extruded at very high temperatures, about 40% of the vitamins and minerals are lost in the process. To make up for the loss of nutrients, manufacturers will add on a vitamin and mineral coating to the kibble after it has been extruded. The kibble also loses its flavor due to the high temperatures. A flavor coating is also added on to the kibble to bring flavor back.
Oven baked kibble is baked slowly at lower temperatures to help preserve the nutrients. By doing this we are able to preserve almost 100% of the vitamins and minerals in the kibble. The low temperatures also keep the protein source flavor intact, making the kibble much tastier than if it was extruded. There are no added coatings to oven baked kibble. We let the ingredients speak for themselves!
Made in Small Batches
Lastly, our Oven Baked Kibble is made in small batches. But what does this mean exactly? It means you get fresher food with better quality, and it’s more sustainable. By creating our kibble in small batches, we are able to examine and understand our food from top to bottom. This helps us create less waste and ensure the quality is top notch.
So let's start your dog's new healthier diet with one simple question.
